Nomination and Selection Process

The University of Georgia Chapter of the Blue Key Honor Society has an extensive nomination and selection process for potential members of the organization. Each new member is a man or woman of outstanding character and ability who have not only achieved distinction for their leadership abilities, but who have also proven themselves in the academic arena as well as serving those around them.

During January of each year, Deans of each college within the University along with senior administrators and Blue Key members are asked to nominate individuals for membership consideration. Once each nomination has been collected, including resumes, the Blue Key membership gathers to discuss and determine the new class of honored leaders.
